Re: Voltage Modular 2.0 is here!
cherry audio Greg - We're working to improve the CPU usage in VM 2.0.15, but it would help to know specifically what's going on. Another user mentions that he's seeing problems when he has a lot of poly voices in the Airwave module. Reducing the number of voices helps with the CPU. This gives the s...

Re: Voltage Modular 2.0 is here!
@josephbottinger
that last screen I got when I downloaded
I right clicked the installer and selected open
it then asked me if I wanted to open
I selected yes and it installed
this is standard OS X practice with many installers
I'm getting high cpu usage too

Re: Step Sequencing example?
Hey Terry thanks for your helpful reply and good to hear you enjoy my work... I am looking at bringing some of those concepts to VM I feel that once I get a clear idea I should be ok (dyslexia+adhd notwithstanding) in M4L and Reaktor I 'see' the numbers flowing through the system VM is quite alien.....

Re: Octa
No access to computer atm so can’t provide examples But just off the top of my head.... You could just have a number of sequencers running and switch between the outputs using any clock source to trigger switches Even use amplifiers and LFO with a quantiser on the final output So a square wave would...

Re: Step Sequencing example?
hey @JackOats wasn't aware i could load them in module designer so i can't see the code ... not looking to copy just for a leg-up with starting to understand how the code works... so: i want to take the clock signal derive various functions from it and then spit it out as triggers/ gates/note and dy...

Step Sequencing example?
hey there
liking VM very much - after some false starts
I develop devices for M4L and Reaktor but never used wordy code
so
there are no examples of step sequencers in Module Designer
so I can't reverse engineer
would that be possible?
or should I go the Java 101 route?
