Thanks Steve - it works perfectly after following all of those steps. For some reason I hadn't thought of looking at Ableton's site itself for general info on handling multi-outs vsts. So thanks for the reference.

Hi, I'm using Ableton Live and the Quadra VST (not VST3) version. I can use Program Change in a MIDI clip to select one of the first 128 presets in whatever Collection is selected. If I want to do Program changes in the All collection or the Quadra Presets collection, I can't select anything beyond ...

Apologies if I'm being dumb here, but how do you do this multi-out in Ableton?
