Re: Voltage Modular 2.0 is here!

I ran .17 through the "Dreamy Cathedral" preset in "Vector Presets". As mentioned with the earlier release, it stopped stuttering on my system when I went from 8 voices to 5. Now, I can bump it up to 6 voices without stuttering. Looking at CPU load, I do NOT see the overloading o...

Re: Voltage Modular 2.0 is here!

I did some more experimentation that may prove helpful. My Windows system has 8 CPUs in the Resource Monitor. On my system, when I experience stuttering, CPU7 hits 100%. This rarely happens now with my current ASIO settings. But, it happens a lot with "Vector Presets" "Dreamy Cathedra...

Re: Voltage Modular 2.0 is here!

I saw similar with version .15. I found that by going to the generic, low-latency ASIO driver and configuring that to VoiceMeeter (in my case) most,if not all, of the stuttering went away. Also, it seems like doing a system restart after diddling with ASIO settings seems to help. System admin tools ...

Re: Voltage Modular 2.0 is here!

FWIW, once it settles, it seems to work well without stutters. No stutters today. Might it be feasible to get a stutter indicator? Maybe another indicator could indicate Voltage Modular is doing background activity. And, maybe there could be a performance priority setting to suspend background or ot...

Re: Voltage Modular 2.0 is here!

Love the new version. Got the vector bundle. Fabulous presets! Working on Windows. No issues installing. I get stuttering in the audio much more frequently than with version 1 (standalone). System has plenty of processing and memory headroom. I find that if I flip around the audio drivers in the Vol...

Re: How can I chain patterns?

Most welcome! BTW, I found some instability with resetting the first sequencer in the example. I solved that by routing the gate out from the threshold attached to the second sequencer to both the start and the reset of the first sequencer. The overall trick here, of course, is to have the last step...

Re: uQuence Sequencer !

Got it. Love it. One request ...

Would it be feasible to display note info for the CV settings like other sequencers? Might be a mode one can select.

I really like this euclidean implementation.

Re: How can I chain patterns?

Okay, I could NOT let this rest. So, I developed a preset that demonstrates another way to chain sequencers. This approach is virtually unlimited and quite flexible because it does a true pass of control from one sequencer to the next. You sacrifice the last step on each. So, this is a 14-step seque...

Re: How can I chain patterns?

Newbie here. But, thought it worth mentioning the Toybox Audio Gate Sequencer in their free pack. That and a few other blocks support chain out and chain in. Take the last chain out and hook to the first chain in to loop sequencers. I'm still playing with this, but may try including a Reaktor instan...
