Doesn't help you, but for anyone wanting to avoid this you should copy (Windows) C/Users/YOURNAME/AppData/Roaming/CherryAudio/Dreamsynth/Presets/Favorites-And-Recents.xml to a safe place before buying and put it back after purchase.
