Vocoder and Studio One

i somehow feel i dont get any sound when i use Vocoder instument version on track. and another soft synth track has vocoder effect in effects what side chained instrument version. and i use studio one. understand this should work? but seems no luck.
and is possible play Vocoder Instrument version in pure? when i can use such track with track where is vocoder in effects. and saddly studio one does not support at least now side chain instrument tracks.

Hi,

You need side-chaining to get sound out of the vocoder, and Studio One doesn't allow you to side chain instruments. You can only side chain effects in Studio One.

It will work now, since version 6, cause side chain for instruments has been implemented.
