Inspired this synth
I already had tried a few Cherry Audio synths, but wow the Elka-X just blew me away. I have to admit I was not familiar with the Synthex beforehand, but I would have definitely desired this thing back in the day. Anyway, I decided to make a 100% Elka-X track (no processing beyond a bit of EQ, pan/volume automation, and master bus compression). https://soundcloud.com/jaxigally/sand-cat.

Re: Inspired this synth
Totally agree with the OP.
I have to admit to trying to re-create some Jean-Michel Jarre stuff - hence the CA2600. I was reading the sleeve of the Equinoxe record and started looking for an Elka Synthex VST - and found the Elka-x.
However, I simply wasn't expecting how great the Elka-x sounds. Completely blown away. No wonder it got the accolades it has.
...so then I ordered Sines and Dreamsynth too - also great!
