"Demo available" analytics?

Is there a way to see how many people are trying out a demo of a module?

It would be really nice to know:
* current demos outstanding
* new demos per day
* expiring demos per day
* bought during demo

Of course per product, per bundle, etc.

It would also be nice if the API would offer a way to check if a module is running in demo mode.
