Start stop function issue VM900 960 sequencer

i have VM 900 running with the 960 sequencer synced to my daw using a sync divider and gate to trigger.
The sequencer runs in sync with midi clock of my Daw.

Now making it see song position pointer or start stop of my DAW would be nice.
I have this with VM2500. Easy connection. “DAW stop “to “sequencer stop” input.

But how do i connect the VM DAW start stop connectors with VM900 and the 960module to make it’s sequencer respond to start / stop ?
There is no stop input in the 960 module that responds to the daw stop connector……..

I use a logic "AND" with the Play Gate and the Clock from a Sync Divider as inputs. Then the transport Play goes to any Resets and also the last step of the sequence, which forces the step one as the start. I use a Trig to Gate from the logic out to provide the straight gates for any envelopes.

This works flawlessly for me, I can do a screen grab when I'm on another machine, if useful...?

I tried ColinP ‘s suggestion using an amp between sync divider and 960 first. That worked great!

Thnx spacedog for your efforts! Will check it out. But i notice I need to buy the boolean module to try it. No demo available….
Will try it with an alternative if ColinP method is giving issues.

The Playertron Logic Gate Array module is available for free.

The VCA performs the same operation as an AND gate when you use a logic-level input and CV (0V = Logic low/0, 5V = Logic high/1).
