I was messing with Cherry's Eight Voice "Reflective Mood" preset and added some BBCSO Pro and Spitfire Epic Choir and ended up composing a trailer style piece around the preset. The "left side of the keyboard" (its a split preset) augments the orchestra by backing up strings and horns to fatten them up. The "right side of the keyboard" is a sequence that I used continuously like a drone.

While people may be right that EV doesn't sound exactly like the original hardware, imo it can do some nice stuff on its own merits.
