CPU Spikes: Windows 10, Pro Tools 12
Re: CPU Spikes: Windows 10, Pro Tools 12
It has not been resolved. I've tried all I can think of for months and simply don't use it.
Re: CPU Spikes: Windows 10, Pro Tools 12
Just a followup - awhile back, I upgraded to a new system.
Intel® Core™ i7-13700KF Processor
Windows 11 Pro 64-bit
MSI Pro Z690-A DDR5 WIFI
32GB DDR5-5600
2TB NVMe Solid State Drive
Same problem with CPU spikes, so It really must be some weird conflict with Pro Tools 12. I can't afford to upgrade Pro Tools yet, so I'm stuck not using VM.

Hello !
It was said (it has been said ?) on this forum and I confirm it: the problem does not exist with Reaper. I add that this doesn't happen with Studio one either.
I understand that it's annoying given the investment that Pro Tools represents, but many acousmatic music professionals around me leave Protools for Reaper...
