Thank you for listening and commenting, I appreciate it! If you are not keen on repetition in rock (or pop) music, don't listen to 'Born in the USA', even though it was a big hit for Bruce Springsteen. The same keyboard chords repeat every 4 seconds. Through the entire song. Sometimes stuff like that is catchy. At the other end of the spectrum, some music has constantly changing chords; and very often, music like that doesn't have much of a hook because there is no repetition. Music is purely subjective. Different people like different styles.
