Thanks to Cherry's Remote Control module, I've got global control over velocity to volume (orange), waveform selection (yellow), filter cutoff & resonance (red), as well as VCA attack & release times (pink). Also added an effects section. Next steps are to add pwm and a global LFO for vibrato. I've realized that if i reduce the polyphony to four, I can get more mileage out of each Remote Control (two 'global' parameters per unit instead of just one). I might take it further by using a couple of the matrix switches discussed in this topic to implement a more semi-modular setup.
I'm intrigued why you didn't use the Perform Knobs for the parameter controls instead of using multiple instances of Remote Control? I can understand the velocity to amplitude envelope mapping, but not the DC Sources.

TBH, I've never considered the Perform Knobs in any of my patching. They're always hidden, they're off my radar.

In this case, I can see the advantage of course, much less modular activity needed to accomplish the result. I can also foresee some limitations - no per-target "Initial Value" setting, no per-target scaling of the control source. And I do prefer the way my patch presents the Wave Select control, naming the waveforms. But thanks for the reminder about Perform Controls, one more feather in the cap of Voltage Modular. :)

Thanks for the insights. I think you have talked me down from the ledge with these work arounds.

This is a very educated and helpful group here. I have left several groups due to the way other people who ask are treated.

I will be busy playing with this for quite a while.

Also good to hear about the trial G2500. It probably saved me time and cash.
