Dreamsynth and MIDI CC 64

I am using a MicroFreak as my keyboard over USB for Dreamsynth Version 1.4.0 Build 133 on Windows 10.

When I:
  • select "80s Sequencer Bass" as a preset
  • hold down a few notes on on the MicroFreak
  • press the "Hold" button on the MicroFreak
The sound level drops down.

From what I can see, the MicroFreak sends a MIDI CC 64 message with a value of 127 when I press Hold on the MicroFreak and somehow that is setting the Filter Envelope to the Sustain value for the VCF Envelope.

Is this a an "undocumented feature"?
