Voice Robbing and Release Times

Post by enarke »

Hello,
I am shooting in the dark here, but I suspect that the way in which the Cherry Chroma affects the horrible noise I am hearing when I play a few chords...
Is caused by the way the Cherry Chroma was made to 'rob' or 'silence' (that would be optimal) notes...as you play more. Like a regular synth, but more special.
I have tried my Chroma on a faster PC, but to no avail.
Shorter Release Times seem to help.

Is this caused by the way the Chroma 'robs' notes as you play?
Can it be updated to fix this problem?

Thank You,

Have you got an audio or video example of the effect you're hearing?

You know, for the life of me I cannot reproduce the sound I am talking about... When I render a series of chords. Everything comes out fine. I think it might just be LAG again, maybe with the GUI opened. But why only with the Cherry Chroma I do not know. I will upload the noise I am talking about that I made using an open mic, and the GUI open in Reaper.
