Host Midi to CV Conversion

Hi, wondering if there's a reason that there's no 'host' midi to cv converter in the plugin version?

There are few modules that might do what you want to do. Just connect the MIDI From host cable (in green on the I/O panel) to one of the MIDI modules. If you are wanting to use MIDI controllers, pick the MIDI CC Converter module. What are you wanting to do exactly?

I use the midi input module a lot. Its got a nice simple interface and support for the mod wheel, velocity
etc. I miss this tremendously when using the plugin version.

All those same inputs, including Mod Wheel, Velocity, etc., are all available in the IO Panel at the top of Voltage Modular. These inputs use the MIDI input from your host when you're running as a DAW, exactly as you're requesting. There's no need to use an additional module to get access to the host MIDI inputs.
