VM sync to external midi clock?

Hi,
I would like to ask is this possible to sync VM running standalone to external midi clock? (clock sensed from a DAW). I can't figure it out.

Yes I have and I think it sends midi clock outside VM. I would like to get VM to be synced to form external clock (a DAW as a master and VM as a slave).
Because I can't sync VM as plugin in Cubase 10 (another post) I thought I can use it in standalone mode synced to midi clock from Cubase.

Do you mean running standalone on a seperate machine?
I would assume you would have driver conflicts doing this on a single machine...
