Patches Lost after Recall

Post by Miss Tinka »

I was building a Song with a few instances of the CA 2600.

I saved it - and when I recalled it, every-Patch-Settings was setted to the same Patch (65ct Piano).

I was using Reason 11; didn`t check out it wiht another Daw.

Hi,

A couple of us tried this in Reason 11 and we couldn't get it to happen. We did notice that sometimes the track reads "Init Patch" when it shouldn't. If you open up CA 2600 and look at the settings, are they correct there?

In the Reason Rack Window they`re named correctly. But if you open them, everything is the 65 cent Piano - and also the settings.
That means the Song is lost. And if you didn`t save every patch separately; you will have no fun.

Btw. I was comapring the CA 2600 with Arturia`s ARP 2600 V3 in this Song. The Arturia patches were all there, as they should be - and nothing was lost.

Hi,

I tested it with Reason 11.3.4d28. Is that what you have?

Which operating system are you using? Which version?

I have updated Reason 11 to 11.3.4d28 with no changes.

I have Windows 7 SP1 running on an Athlon II X3 460 with 8GB Ram.

I am producing on this System over seven Years; make all my studio productions even on a couple of VST`s and never had any problems; even with the 32 bit VST`s running with JBridge.

Hi,

Okay, it may be a Windows 7 issue. We'll check it out.

Hi,

Please try saving a patch, then go into General settings, click Show Log Files, zip up the recent log files that show what's happening, and send them to us.

Hello again,

One more thing to check!

Does the problem happen if you turn off this option?

Hi,

If you save patches with that setting off, they don't restore correctly?

If so, please send us your log files (see my post above).
