Filter feedback , output of filter back into mixer ,
Filter set to bandpass , do a frequency sweep
Increasing resonance makes it even worse .
I wouldn't hurt to implement a hard clipper in the feedback path to protect the customers ears
Absolutly horrible .
This company is just a joke
filter feedback ,into mixer
Re: filter feedback ,into mixer
10 year old UHE ACE sounds much better. Korg arp odyssey VST sounds a generation ahead of CA2600 is terms of analog emulation.

Re: filter feedback ,into mixer
Totally agree
G-force is outstanding , I really hope they do an arp 2600 emuation
that being said , feedback in a digital system is very hard to impelement but they could at least insert a safety clipping algoritm to prevent our eardrums from being pierced .
It's safe to say that the coding team have a litlle to no experience with analogue modelling
The list of dissapointments is getting to long for me
In the meantime there are guys like Hrastprogrammer who build and exceptional piece of software ( tranzistow ) and it stays under the radar ( altough he does not really promotes it and it is not for the faint of heart )

Filter-Feedback: use LP24 without Reso, Filter Output to Voltage Processor Input 1; push "inverse" and return from 1/2/3/4 Output to Filter Input "Ringmod" for eg and set Fader to the max. Additionally you can increase the resonance.gentleclockdivider wrote: ↑Fri Nov 06, 2020 2:25 pm Filter feedback , output of filter back into mixer ,

Attached a Preset File. Cubase-Path is App Data - Roaming - Cherry Audio - Presets - User Presets
Sinewave on every Osc. is set with a little Feedback, too.
Have fun
