Did anyone else had to update VM from 1.1.1 to 1.1.4 manually? I thought it was supposed to be fixed that the upgrades are happening automatically from within the app itself? Not a big deal, but still...

New toys to play with during the Christmas holidays

After updating to 1.1.4, the AU plugin says 1.1.3 in the info window (and also complains that there is an update available). I tried removing and re-installing the plugin & rebooting several times, still 1.1.3. I think 1.1.3 was never even released and I certainly didn't have it installed, so I guess the installer actually installs v1.1.3? The standalone and Module Designer are v1.1.4 as they should. Mac, latest OS X & Logic.

Something went wrong with the AU installer for 1.1.4, but it should be fixed now. Please visit https://store.cherryaudio.com/my/library and re-download and run the VM 1.1.4 Mac installer. Please let us know if this solves your problem!

As much as I appreciate that the Ladder Filter is free, I had difficulty using it - it lowers the volume quite drastically and it's very eager to get into almost unpleasant ringing / whistling at even moderate emphasis and/or saturation settings.

Is it how ladder filter should work in general, or is there something off with this particular implementation?

I'll have to compare it to Vult's Lateralus over the weekend.
