Poor graphical performance of the GUI (Fixed!)
Re: Poor graphical performance of the GUI
Another review mentioning "poor retina display performance" which is OSX' verison of high-DPI screens:

BTW, for now I worked around the problem by forcing my Surface Pro 4 to use lower resolution altogether (1500x1000 seems to be a sweet spot for me).

Re: Poor graphical performance of the GUI
The next Voltage Modular build 1.15 (not released yet) will support OpenGL accelerated hardware. There is a checkbox in the Interface section to enable/disable GPU acceleration. All I can say is wow, this is extremely fast, especially for those that are using high def displays such as Retina. (=
It should be available in a week or two.

That’s great! It’s ok on my MacBook Pro (15”, 2018, i7 2.3ghz, OSX Mojave) until I scroll down or up to see the next level of modules. Then it scrolls REAL SLOW. Otherwise, it’s pretty ok

Re: Poor graphical performance of the GUI
Coming soon - maybe tomorrow. (=
Of course, OpenGL support is one of those things that has to be tested really well. It is an option that will turn on by default if a high density/retina display is detected, as this is where the main slowdown has been. We've noticed that some graphics cards are not super-compatible with our opengl implementation and will actually work a bit slower, unfortunately as it is using a software implementation of OpenGL.

Great. This version doesn't crash Cubase 10 when closing the project.Cherry Garcia wrote: ↑Wed Jan 16, 2019 9:45 pm Dowload 1.21 or later here : https://store.cherryaudio.com/my/library
