Global Instrument : please, PDF Manuals

Post by malhomme »

Hi to all, I don't exactly know where to post this, it applies to all VSTs.

I wish there was a pdf version of all manuals. I work offline, have now 6 Cherry Audio synths, and copying/pasting every web page of each manual into a word file is awfully tedious.

Hi,

Thanks for the suggestion!

For now, you could see if your browser has an option to save web pages for offline viewing.

Here's how to do it with Chrome:

I understand, but it requires to save each page individually for each manual. That still is dozens of pages... I see PDF manual as a pretty standard feature. I can't think of any musical software from my DAW to third parties VST effects and VSTi I bought over the years that don't use PDF manuals. Even Kontakt soundbanks.

I agree. The online manual thing is cool, but inadequate if you don't have Internet, and not searchable in the same way, nor markable. A PDF is standard fare.
