Hi, I'm a semi newbie in the modular world and I can't tempo sync the "VM960 Sequencer" to the DAW. What's the trick?
Can anyone screen grab how you tempo sync it to the DAW?
Thank you.

Hi,

also, MRB had a recent posting in modules/MRB on how to sync some of his modules, for more ideas

Thanks for this schoekah,
I know these sync methods but the VM960 sequencer is picking my brain - there are no obvious external sync labels that lead me on to do this, I think it goes deeper in the rapid hole than this with this module.

Sure,
you know, can't test it since I don't have the vm960, but seems like MRB's solution should work, since vm960 and vm1027 seq have pretty much the same buttons. (he's using that synth voice vm1045 on the right as an amp)
he has a preset in the "preset exchange" part of the forum, but it requires vm2500 modules, so here's a pic, below
he also has some notes about manually getting the oscillator clock roughly in the right range, before the solution will work:

here's a kind soul with a video that you might be able to access with mostly the same thing:

best wishes!

Try this synced to an 8 step and daw, gives transport control too. Key is the shift jack.

Re: VM960 Sequencer -sync with DAW-
Hey all. Just published a couple of videos that should be very helpful:
Voltage Modular | VM960 Sequencer DAW Host Sync
https://youtu.be/fqasWvcVke4
Voltage Modular | Extended Sequences With The VM960 and VM962
https://youtu.be/a_RB0CXa9Mc
@PeZIK - The Shift CV input jack at the bottom right is the equivalent of an "external sync" jack, because it increments the sequencer forward one step every time it sees a pulse.
Incidentally, DAW sync is a bit easier with VM960 than with VM2500 1027, because it has CV step inputs beneath every step that let you instantly jump to individual steps.
