MIDI Program Change Quadra

Quadra emulates one of the quirkiest, rarest, and most curiosity-inspiring vintage synthesizers of all time, the 1978 ARP Quadra.

MIDI Program Change Quadra

Post by 3rddawn »

Hi,
I'm using Ableton Live and the Quadra VST (not VST3) version.
I can use Program Change in a MIDI clip to select one of the first 128 presets in whatever Collection is selected.
If I want to do Program changes in the All collection or the Quadra Presets collection, I can't select anything beyond the first 128 presets.
Please can anyone tell me how to select beyond this?
Bank and Sub boxes have no effect.
Are we limited to the first 128 presets in whatever collection we're in?

Or is there a way of accessing all of presets using some other MIDI commands/CCs in Ableton Live?

Thanks

I think one set of larger questions here is does CA MIDI implement bank switching in any of its instruments (or VM) and if so what method is used to switch banks? I'd also be interested in knowing and if its not implemented, I'd be interested in having it added.

Hi,

I believe we're currently limited to 128. Bank select would be a feature request.
