Re: Artefacts sounding like a Bit Crusher
Hi,
In regard to the bit crusher issue, you're the only one who has reported it, and it only happens with Nuendo, so that may be why it hasn't garnered more attention (plus, you can just avoid using those settings if you don't like the way it sounds).
In regard to the crash with the VST2 version of the plugin, the log files might provide additional helpful information that could help solve the problem, but I'll pass along what you've provided so far, thanks!

Hi,
I meant I'd pass along what you posted today - about the crash.
I've had a bug report filed on the other issue since you first reported it.

Hi,
Does the VST2 version crash every time? Or is it intermittent? Or was that just a one-time crash?

As I'm right now fiddling around in my studio I checked VST2 again - it didn't crash, but produced similar artefacts like the VST3 version. It was this VST instance with these parameters - note that you have to move fast Repeat Rate between lowest and highest values to get these problems very quickly!cherryaudio Greg wrote: ↑Mon Jan 24, 2022 10:59 pm

If this produces problems in Nuendo 11, it will very likely do so too in Cubase 11 - it is the same audio engine and Nuendo has 'just' more functions, but otherwise they're very similar.

No update in over 5 months concerning this bug - this is very disappointing.
