Sequencer voltages and notes

Making a sequence is like pulling teeth on anything that uses voltages to sequence. I know that was the way they were designed but come on this 2022 not 1969 and it is not a university setting. I just want to make music not do maths exams. Would it be so hard with a little bit of extra programing to show the note instead of having to do it with printed out paper charts Victorian style to convert frequencies to notes. Then having to type them in one after the other. Really is a workflow killer

There are lots of modules that can help you out. Andrew Macaulay has several modules that either display or modify pitches, and Monkey Business' Volt Meter will display voltages as note names (and it's either free or very cheap). I suspect most people just tune sequencer notes by ear; that's what I've done.

at least the cherry audio sequencers, when dragging the slider, or hovering the mouse over the slider, it shows the note that it's tuned to. example, eight step sequencer.
be sure to hit the button for "output quantize."

It's really not a problem. Just do it like this: Make yourself a simple patch with vco,env,vca (I just use my Tiny Voice module) and mix it into the output so you can hear it along with what you're programming. Play the note you want and turn the sequencer knob to match. Rinse, repeat. No math, no charts, no conversions, no typing, no headache.

Also, some sequencers like in the VM2500 and VM900 have optional quantized knobs that tune in semitones making the job even easier.

Of course all this assumes that you own a musical keyboard and I'm told I should not make that assumption.

As a VM user, I have been able to use some modules to show voltages that have been converted to notes.

Maybe instead of being so negative, using passive aggressive anger, being sarcastic and overly dramatic, etc. perhaps you could post a small preset that shows what you are trying to do (or describe it) and other users can try to tweak it so it shows the pitches?
