Hi. I am really interested in this sequencer but rather bizarrely I can’t find C3 when using the quantised CV. It just goes B2 - C#3. Am I going mad? I am very sad as I know I overuse C3. There is C2 and C4 but they are just not the same!
I was also wondering if you could type a note value in? Right clicking has no affect?

Re: Vari step sequencer
Hi!
Sorry for late replay.
You can set finer value by "click+drag with right mouse button" or "drag with shift+left button".
So, typing note value would be nice. I will try to implement.
Some key combinations will be needed, e.g.) right button + alt?
Thank you for the suggestion!

Re: Vari step sequencer
Hi,
vari step is a very fine module, i love it.
a suggestion: option for trigger for shift in each line (maybe one trigger for all four lines too?). maybe with trigger-switch for shift forward or backward
thanks and greets tom

Re: Vari step sequencer
Hello,
Thank you for the word.
>trigger for shift
It can be done with Remote Control module, if you have that. (Though it's not straight forward for a module...)
e.g.)
1. Assign a shift button on Vari-step to a slot on Remote Control.
2. Then, set both knobs on assigned slot on Remote Control to any value greater than 0.
3. After that, every time Remote Control gets triggers, Vari-step shifts data on the grid.
Of course, having dedicated trigger input on the module itself is the best way. It should be considered.

Re: Vari step sequencer
Yes, it's little tedious. Also Remote Control can harm visibility of the patch.
But it's powerful.
I will post a video or presets for this topic next week.
Cheers!

Re: Vari step sequencer
Two videos are uploaded. For introducing some usages of Remote Control module with Vari-step.
"Remote Controlled Vari-step - How To Connect" (no audio)
https://youtu.be/rWdTxWnTybA
"Remote Controlled Vari-step - Preset sound demo"
https://youtu.be/IrnQxRYOKRc
Presets used on second video will be included in "M*4 Module Presets" product as soon as it's approved. For now, I put it here, too.

Re: Vari step sequencer
Would you consider adding the option to double click and enter the note as text - e.g. C3 D#4 etc.?
Thanks.
