Adding detailed documentation (PDFs?)

Hello,
I'm planning some modules that will need a significant amount of explanation - more than that small amount of text (only) that I can only see support for.

Is there some way of attaching PDFs or some similar rich document format (with tables, screen captures, diagrams, etc.)?

the answer to this is to use the dashboard

as was kindly pointed out in a related posting.

Upload your module. Find it in the dashboard and then edit lots of data from there.
