I've just downloaded the Minimode demo.
Am I doing something wrong?
In the original Model 'D' (and most soft-synth emulations), if you set up the filter envelope with release and retrigger a note before the envelope decays back to zero, you get a unique effect:
You should get a 'boost' to the attack peak on subsequent key presses. This will build up as you press the key more often, especially with as little 'key up' time as you can manage.
Gordon Reid explains it well in this review of Mini V (see section "Other Fixes and Niggles").
I can't hear this effect in Minimode. Am I doing something silly, or NOT doing something?

Hi,
Hmm, thanks for pointing this out. We're looking into it.

Please be assured that this phenomenon was meticulously modeled, but something probably got mangled late in the process. Thanks for finding this bug which will be squashed very shortly.
Re: 'Cumulative' envelope response missing?
Awesome! It's scarily accurate in every other aspect.

Hi,
Allow build 56 to download (it's an automatic update), and see if you get the envelope behavior you were looking for.

Re: 'Cumulative' envelope response missing?
Hi Greg,
The response is certainly improved on Minimode.
I've made this short video to illustrate the difference in response between Minimode and Arturia's Mini-V (version 3). As I don't have access to Model D hardware (Moog or Behringer), I can't say for sure which softsynth gets closest to the Real Thing (tm).
Hope this is useful to the dev team.

Hi,
We’re comparing it to the hardware, not other emulations.
