I had an original Roland Juno-106 at 17 but I sold it. So I was very happy to hear from the DCO-106. But I have the same issues with crackles that other VSTs don't have. I use Cubase and i5 processor. If you can solve the problem I will buy it for sure. But not now.

Hi,
Click on the DCO-106 logo. Which version and build do you have?

I'm having this issue with all the CA products I've bought, hosting within Reason 11. Windows machine, intel 10 core 2.8, 64 gigs ram.
Gotta be an issue with Reason's handling, right?

Just a personal update. It seems my problems were solved by upgrading to a new usb mixer/interface. I had been using a roland quad capture, now using a mackie profx 10v3.
I love my cherry audio plugins!

I too am experiencing a crackle when using the DCO-106. My version is 1.4.0 build 53. I'm using Cakewalk and have 16 GB RAM. I love this synth but the crackle makes it very hard to enjoy.

I have had some issues with some presets myself. If you want suggestions for getting through the issue, my rule of thumb with those patches that crackle is to lower the polyphony. Having diagnosed my own issues, I usually compare standalone, VST2, and VST3 to see if one of those is more of a problem than others. When using ASIO, sometimes I find tweaking the buffer size helps. I also monitor CPU usage as shown in the Windows Task Manager to see if something is going on there.
I agree, crackles ruin the enjoyment.
I hope my comments help you sort out the problem. Also, try contacting Cherry Audio's support. They might have additional ideas.

I have tried some of those with some but not total success. I do notice that if while a track with that synth and preset is playing and I open the Edge browser the crackling goes crazy. So it seems to be an issue with an overload on the CPU somehow. I'll keep messing with it.
