The drop down menus now work properly. Thanks for noticing that! Just run VM to get the latest build 60 of Mighty Piano Roll to get this fix.

how the hell do you use the play gate? nothing seems to patch into it, only out...wth?

I never use this, but:
"Play Gate- Outputs a constant 5V gate signal when MPR is in play mode. It's unaffected by note-ons and note-offs."
Maybe it is supposed to be used to tell other things when the MPR is playing?
Just tested that by connecting it to Gate Play on a Midi File Player. Seems to work as intended.
