I've just tested this on 2.7.0 release and it seems a fix for this didn't make the cut maybe?

How are you testing this? Does it happen with standalone? If you're using VST, try it with VST2 instead of VST3.
My prior confirmation (June 2022) was done with VM Standalone with Windows 10 Pro. I have not checked it since, but I will put it on my agenda to retest as described above in case it will help.

This is tested in standalone. Seems like the Midi Out module is filtering real-time messages still. But Steve W is correct; no one actually said it was going to be fixed - I was just hoping on the off chance
