I had a play with uQuence when it first came out but put it in the too hard basket pending further investigation. I wished there was a demo preset. It has also helped that, subsequent to first trying uQuence, I have extensively used Euclidean Duel, which is, so far as I know, the only other VM module that implements Euclidean rhythms. The two modules provide very different ways of varying the rhythms. For example, in uQuence, I love the trigger probability and random direction features.
uQuence is so bristling with features that the designer has not found room for Start and Stop inputs. As a newcomer to modular synthesis when uQuence was initially released, that was one of the things that stumped me. When I revisited uQuence a few days ago, I figured out a workaround, as shown in the simple demo patch below. For this to work, uQuence's Clock button must be turned ON:
