I own lot's of Voltage Modular modules & I'd like to request a feature to hide/unhide modules that I don't like much. It would make searching through my module list easier. There are a few I bought on sale in bundles and a few others here and there that I'm not likely to use so the feature of hiding/unhiding is a good addition to VM.

I have another great feature request for Voltage Modular. How about MIDI key controlled Variation selections to allow jumping between your Voltage Modular variations list using the white keys or white and black keys on a MIDI keyboard. I initially had someone design me a patch that allows MIDI key control to jump between 24 variations but now I want the feature built in to solidify VM feature wise. Variations mapped to MIDI keys as a VM feature.

Isn't it in
my account,

Voltage modular,
and click on the trash can in front of the module that we no longer want to see ?

Yes, that does work. However, it does seem to be a rather permanent solution. I can't find an obvious way to restore it to the VM library if I change my mind later.

Is anyone going to compare GG's list with VM 2.9.2? Might be fun to ack those who had their suggestions adopted.

Not really. This release was all bug fixes, pretty much. All the added goodies will still have to wait for the hypothetical Big Release, likely v3.0.

Thanks for the reply. So far, 2.9.2 works on my PC as well as 2.7.0, so I'm happy!

I hope this is indeed the plan!

I'd like to have a more conventional Save behaviour. CMD/CTRL S should simply save, with no dialog requesting a name, just a flash of the Save button. What VM does is really a "Save As..." - it should be treated as such (it's nice to have) and added to the Saving options. VM does actually let you override the dialog box by CMD/CTRL clicking the Save button, or by typing "CMD/CTRL S", but why not use the same protocol as other software? This could apply to Variations too. Tweak a Variation, Save, no dialog box. It would make using them more efficient.
I'd also REALLY like to be able to view the contents of the folder where I'm saving and even navigate to related folders. I hate having to guess at what else is on the drive when I'm saving or renaming, etc. It's a drag to be blind when using the Save dialog, and it's counter to good practise on both OSX and Windows.
And on the topic of Variations, I'd like to have an option to "lock" a parameter against variation. An example is adding a module like a mixer after you've made a few Variations, and then having to resave each Variation with the new module's settings. It'd be much better to optionally have selected parameters or even entire modules ignore the Variation settings.

This is specifically for VMD. I'd like the ability to mass-kill all the "new or updated" module stars. If you have to flush the cache for any reason, all the modules reload with all modules starred, and the star seems never to go away. I have nearly 2000 modules, and it takes a long, long time to turn all those flags off manually, and until you do, the flags are basically useless.
