Makes sense. I have been exploring VM as a plug-in host [not in Nucleus] with real time controls via VM as opposed to DAW-based controls and automation. I have also explored having VM as an FX rack for the DAW. For recording/mastering doing it all in the DAW makes sense to me. But I am more interested in using the DAW to capture live the performance. So, for me the modular system of control VM offers fits my style.
All is good!!
By the way, a few weeks ago I used VM modules (LFO and EG mainly) and MIDI hardware going into VM if I remember correctly to do controls of the Miniverse Instrument hosted in a DAW. VM controls as automation with real time performance. My keyboard (MIDI for notes and triggers/gates) went to VM which was hosted in the DAW. VM added LFO and EG controls the Miniverse hosted in the DAW. Something like that.
Again, its all about personal preferences.

Re: Miniverse Module bundle and Poly
We'll get this addressed, everyone. As I've tried to explain to Jeff offline, it was simply an oversight in the design of the presets where the designer didn't take into account that Poly Stereo Spread wasn't a part of the basic VM packages. It was not intended to be misleading, "spam," or an upsell opportunity. Sometimes we just make mistakes.
It has not come up since the Miniverse Module Collection was first released five months ago. And now it has been brought to our attention, on a holiday. Danny in Support and I are working on making it right immediately, and ultimately getting to the best solution once everyone returns from the holidays.

Interesting Steve about the integration of the modules in the DAW. I'd like to see a sketch of that if you can PM it to me or even post it on this thread for all to see.
Thanks Robert for working with this. I look forward to the update. For now, at least with the Forum Member's help and knowledge of work arounds, we can move forward. Been a fan of Cherry Audio for a couple of years now.
