Hi James,

In MIDI, it is generally understood that MIDI Note 0 is C-1, not C0. In fact, some software and books will even refer to MIDI Note 0 as C-2. Because of this, what some applications call C3 and what some applications call C4 may be the same note.

Here's an example of a standard MIDI note chart:

As for can see, C3 is not MIDI Note 36. It is, in fact, MIDI Note 48, and Middle C (circled) is MIDI Note 60. This is the most common scale you'll find in use, but you'll pretty much never see a program that will call MIDI Note 0 = C0.

Hope that helps,

Basis Octave (C-1):
Splitter: is ok
Midi Drum Trigger: C4 = 60. ok
Midi Trigger 3: C4 triggers C3. wrong...

Request: In the settings there should be an option to set the Basis Octave like Cakewalk. All midi modules should react to it.
Mighty Piano Roll and other lowest note should be C-2.
Basis Octave in Ableton 9, MPC Beats and Cakewalk is C-2! C-2 is maybe standart (in many other daws)..

When Vst Hosts will automatically detect between Vst and Vst3 like Cakewalk. Manual choose is impractical. There could be an option to filter between Instruments and Effects.
Vst 32 support?
