Test client crashes on MIDI learn + some inconsistencies

When I select "MIDI Learn" on a button/toggle the test client crashes without warning. It also does not leave any messages about the crash in the log files. This is independent of the MIDI device selected in VMD preferences, even if no MIDI device is selected at all.
Also, I can only select "MIDI Learn" on buttons/toggles, not on knobs, sliders or switches.
Also, ALT+click resets a knob/slider to default value in VM and the test client, but double-click allows you to edit the value in VM, but also resets it in the test client.
Also, in VM I can remove a module by selecting it and pressing DEL, in the test client I have to right-click and select "Remove".
Although it's somewhat annoying, I can live with the last two inconsistencies, since I've been getting used to it over the time. The "MIDI Learn" thing on the other hand is a game stopper.
Does the crash only happen to me or do other developers also experience this?
Could CA please have a look into this and maybe make the test clients behavior more consistent with VM?
