Multi-Phaser FX Unit (for VM Core)

This is a stand-alone phaser based on a cascaded network of 8 All-Pass Filters. The output can be tapped from stage 1 to stage 8 to achieve many different tonal characters from simple bubbly tremolo through to cosmic washes.
It mixes the stereo inputs into a mono signal to pass through the phase shift network. The output mixer then allows you to add the positive and inverted phase-shifted signal anywhere within the stereo field, which can lead to wide stereo phasing effects, even from a mono input signal.
Modulation of the centre frequency of the All-Pass Filters can be performed by an LFO or an envelope follower (which tracks the combined Left and Right audio inputs).
