Create New Button Skin

In a word, how? I've created a modified version of the Mini-Rect-Blue, calling it with the same name, but with -Blue added after the existing Blue, but otherwise leaving the name, including what I'm guessing is a coded hash, intact. VMD doesn't see it. What's necessary to get the new file into the system?
