Access to Skin SVGs

Is there any way to get access to the actual SVG files for the CA-supplied controls, as opposed to the bitmap thumbnails, so as to make modified versions of them? I don't have access to anything that can usefully create SVGs (it hardly seems worthwhile to pay the exorbitant extra price for Adobe Illustrator just to draw a few knobs or buttons), but there's probably a decent free program that can make minor color changes to an existing SVG (any suggestions?).

I use Inkscape for all my SVG work. Works like a charm.

Okay, thanks to the both of you for the recommendation; I'll give it a try. As for the access to the SVG skins of the native controls...?

Under Windows they're at C:\ProgramData\Voltage Module Designer\Resources.

Ah, thanks. Not a place I'd have looked in.
