Problem with VM

After loading Reason, I went to use VM only to see it wasn't even there. I went to my account, downloaded the 2.5.5 then loaded the VST2 and VST 3 downloads as my standalone was already up to date, and working after using it alone last week. The first time I loaded Reason, the window came up saying certain VST s weren't able to loaded. Looked in the Reason window to see that VM couldn't be loaded, clicked Enable, so it would load next time hopefully. Sure enough, it didn;t, and to make matters worse and more confusing, in looking at my Steinberg folder where all my VST2s are places, I can see my 2600, but the VM .dll isn't even there! Hope someone can help me with this, it's pretty annoying.

Hi,

You're using Windows? Are you running a 64-bit version of Reason? Make sure it's not 32-bit.

For VST2, the Voltage Modular VST would be in a Voltage Modular subfolder and CA2600 would be in a Cherry Audio subfolder inside your VST folder.

Run the installer again, and check over your settings? https://cherryaudio.com/products/voltag ... r/download

VST3 files all go to the same Common Files VST3 folder, so there shouldn't be any confusion there, unless you moved them.

This thread seems pretty open to hijacking - while we're on the topic, I love my VST2 plugs! I'm sad sad SAD that Steinberg has walked away from VST2, so reliable and predictable, all my fave abandonware synths. . .. Cherry Audio, support VST2 and plug-in host module with VST2 forever, if you would be so kind!
