My Voltage Modular is/was Broken!

Does Cherry Audio require the computer name/device name (windows 10) to remain the same as it was, for the original purchases? Is that name now required and tied to the licenses??? Can I change it on my cherry audio account and system?

it does ... sigh! I will assume then, I need to delete the old device names, then re-add new for it to work properly. I had gone back to the old name, and funny thing . . . it worked.

I am so glad the app warned you the reason for the odd behavior, i.e. all your stuff is gone!!! . . . we could not have a simple dialogue box when you open VM "your device name changed, you need to ....", you obvs know it has changed! ... its ok CA, I figured it out

..by removing the devices under my account, the program re-populated/authenticated

...if you decide to change your computer name, log into you account first and remove the old information
