RMI Harmonic Synthesizer
Since I never heard of this, I looked it up (videos and web sites). "In 1974 RMI introduced it's first, and only synthesizer." It was produced from 1974-1976. "Though it was technically advanced, it did not sell well and was discontinued in 1976. Around 150 to 250 units were produced and only four were ever sold in Europe."
On the other hand the RMI Keyboard Computer seems to have had some success. According to Wikipedia, "The RMI Keyboard Computer was used by Wakeman, the Band's Garth Hudson, the Moody Blues' Mike Pinder, and The Enid's Robert John Godfrey. It was also used together with the RMI Harmonic Synthesizer by Jean Michel Jarre on Oxygène (1976). Subsequently, it has been used by Aphex Twin, who listed it under the instrument credits for Syro (2014)."
I think if either of those could generate some marketable interest in 2022 or 2023, the Keyboard Computer might have a better chance.

Well, for now, there's this one (32-bit only, I'm afraid):

I've always loved the sound of the RMI Harmonic Synthesizer, since hearing it used as the lead instrument on Oxygene pt 5 (second half).
There is also this phenomenal piece recorded in the MOS-LAB Studio. It's a treasure trove of vintage gear, but most importantly, it is all used to create a fantastic track:

Nice tune. Great video of the performance because the gear takes center stage.

I had forgotten about the RMI Harmonic Synthesizer. I remember playing one once in the early 80’s. At that time I lived near RMI’s parent company, the Allen Organ Company in Pennsylvania. I’d definitely be on board with a reproduction of that. I tend to favor the recreations of synths that haven’t been widely done before. Note that the RMI Harmonic Synthesizer was a true synthesizer, while the RMI Keyboard Computer was an adaptation of Allen's digital organ technology in a portable case (vs. Allen's church organs that were larger permanent installations). The RMI Keyboard Computer might also be an interesting candidate for a reproduction as it is a lot different from the combo and Hammond organ reproductions that have already been done by others.
A couple other instruments I’d like to see:
-Arp Omni II - I know that much of it can be duplicated with the Quadra (which my my favorite CA instrument to date) but I prefer the stripped down interface of the Omni II. I owned one in the early 80’s that I loved using (until it was destroyed in a flood).
-Oberheim Xpander or Matrix 12
-A vintage multi-effects unit like the Yamaha SPX-90
I would love to see CA’s interpretation of vintage type drum machines/sounds.
