Hi,
Is it this issue?
Greg
release velocity (which is as all the others normal MIDI 1.x spec), isn't implemented in the MPE module. this 'lift' function, as Roli, calls it seems trivial but isn't!
no. the issue is :
i will first address the MPE;
i made two vid's;
what they have in common:
(for example) play one note (key), the first note, hold that not, play second note.
first note gets voice one, second note voice two. (or channel..)
release the second note
the second note is now voice (channel) 1! and not 2..
two vid's, with sem, simplified presets, one with the poly SEM, one with the mono SEM...
look at the meters of output mixer, while you see me playing, very focused.... to show the problem...
the mono SEM has an extra giveaway, because Q must be done with a Poly To Mono module ánd Remote control, you see that voice 2, that must use the second SEM, falls back to voice 1, that uses the first SEM...
also notice that channel 1 isn't a lower zone, but just an mpe channel.....
or i am overlooking things...
of course this not the MPE way, in Cubase Pro 11, for instance you can see, that a voice stays the same voice... if i release a note, and suddenly controls something else, the whole purpose is gone....
