Voltage Modular Latency and freeze problem

Voltage Modular can’t handle more than three Noise Engineering VST and it freezes and suddely suht down.
The CPU meter says its usgae is around 10 to 20 parecents and I could hardly open pop-up menu to change any parameters.
There should be way to turn off, when the CPU hits high.
Please get your act together Cherryaudio. If you have time to produce those vsts, it it your priority to improve Voltage Modular.

Bonjour, John ! It's Jean !
Well I think the first thing you should do if you haven't already is to check the length of the cables between your controllers and your computer on the one hand, between your audio interface and your computer on the other hand. The shorter the better, and always less than a meter.
By the way, Cherry Audio and Noise Engeenering are not the same company. Is the problem the same with the VSTs used in your DAW ?
An easy way to close Voltage modular when it's stuck (or any other software, in the Windows world), is :
- CTRL + Alt + Del (together - use both hands))
- Choose task manager,
- right-click on Voltage modular
- choose end of task.
Et voilà.
Hope it helps !

It is very short, 10cm or less.
This thing about pop-up side menu is weird. Why they are stuck and freezed for a few minutes? I’d tweak parameters directly with knobs on modules, while menu was stuck and stayed there.
Generally, most vsts have high latency compared with Ableton Live or Reason. There should be a way to change a sample rate lower. No it doesn’t have one.
You need to have a switch to turn off, when cpu maxes out. I am sure people ask about it before and CPU meter on UI, not third party one.

Hello,
To assist you better, kindly submit a support request. This will enable us to collect relevant information and identify the source of the problem.
Helpful things you could include: system details, specifics on the plugins, crash or spin reports generated by your OS, log files from Voltage Modular, and any other specifics regarding how and when this happens (e.g., is it standalone of Voltage Modular or is it instantiated as a plug-in in your DAW, if as a plug-in, which DAW?)
