Looking for Pitch Changer
I don't know if it's available or even possible, but I'm looking for a module that can be near the end of a chain that lets me change the pitch/frequency of the incoming audio. I've tried frequency shifters, but they always have a wavy thing going on (oscillation). I know that I could change the pitch of the CV at the beginning of the chain, but I couldn't just quickly plug that into a synth without drastic alterations. What I want is to have a secondary note played after a delay that's shifted by maybe five notes. It's like arpeggiation but just played once. I'd like to just plug it into any synth I've designed.

Actually, there's no reason why I couldn't have two inputs to the oscillators for the pitch. I would just delay the altered pitch and send it into the existing synth. I guess I answered my own question.
EDIT: Actually, now that I've tried that, I encountered trigger issues, so it's not simple.

If you want to experiment with audio pitch shifting at the end of the chain as per your original post then you could try this bundle...
https://store.cherryaudio.com/bundles/z ... collection
You're going to end up with some kind of discontinuity when doing real-time pitch shifting but if you check out the documentation Grant shows how to crossfade between two delay lines to help reduce this.

Thanks. I guess I'll just rely on my DAW for any notes that go into my songs. I just thought this would be a neat effect.

Actually, if Voltage could copy cables with modules to the row down, I could easily duplicate an entire synth. *sigh* It's not worth it.

Re: Looking for Pitch Changer
This could be easy in a DAW. If it has an arpeggiator on the instrument that's set to slow and is only allowed to play for one additional note, then the effect is easily done. I just needed to think beyond Voltage. I spend so much time in it. Although, it would be equally easy to just add the other note manually. Also, this doesn't solve the problem for anyone doing a live performance. A module would be useful.
Re: Looking for Pitch Changer
I was going to recommend the Zeit bundle before Colin kindly suggested you try it (free 28 day demo period allows you to see if it fits the bill). The Time Stream Integrator module in that bundle uses crossfading between two delay lines to create smooth pitch-shifting effects.
However, if you want to duplicate parallel synth patches with a pitch offset between them, you could try saving 'Cabinets' and reloading them on multiple rows of the VM rack. See "Working With Cabinets" in the VM documentation. Or detune two oscillators by the required pitch shift amount and mix their outputs before feeding into the rest of your patch.

Re: Looking for Pitch Changer
Thank you. I've been needing to learn about cabinets. That will help tons of things.
Re: Looking for Pitch Changer
This patch uses three cabinets with the same patch.
Rows two and three have different oscillator pitches: Osc 2 is 7 semitones (a musical fifth) up from Osc1, Osc3 is an octave down from Osc1. LFO rates are slightly different, too.
The delay lines at the end of rows 2 and 3 implement the timing of the 'arpeggio' function.
This might be a good starting point for your own experiments.

Thanks. This immediately made me realize ways of doing this as a full synth. I never use pitch changes on the ocsillator, so I wasn't even think of that. Clearly, the EnvGen would do delayed timing. Really, though, I'll just make the notes myself. It's just more playing. No biggie.
