First question: Have you read the user guide?

If you haven't, then it's by far the best place to begin.

If you have, then I'm going to have to go all Jordan Peterson on you :

What do you mean by "pattern"? Are you talking about a single 'Row' (A to H) with beats 1 to 16, or a single 'Pattern' with beats across Rows A to H?

What do you mean by "change one pattern"? Do you mean incrementing or decrementing the Pattern Select number? Or changing one of more beat positions within one or more Rows in a single Pattern.

What do you mean by "changes all the patterns"? Do you mean that if you select a different Pattern number, it changes the beats on all the Rows? This is the expected behaviour, if so.
