Is it possible to add custom button label images?

Yes. The module designer will check the folder [Documents]\Voltage Module Desginer\resources\overlays at startup and add any images found in that folder to the button 'image overlays' dropdown.

(where [Documents] is your local documents folder).

[Documents]\Voltage Module Designer\resources\ is the folder where the module designer stores any custom control skins you've created via the Skin Editor dialog (available from the 'Edit' menu), so if you've created custom skins, [Documents]\Voltage Module Designer\resources\ will already exist and have subfolders called buttons, sliders, etc. - whatever kind of controls you've created custom skins for.
