I'm learning... but I think this image is incorrectly wired - the osc. output should go to amp input correct? Great program!

Hook it up and see how it sounds, then hook it up the way you think it should be connected and see how it sounds.
Edited to add: note the position of the filter cutoff and resonance knobs.

Thanks for the reply. I guess I was in a basic conceptual mode. Your basic patch, unlike the image, has the env going into CV with the osc. going into the input. That -seems- like the best order, but you're right whatever works... I just don't see the point of using a high freq osc. output as a VCA control. And for beginners the disparity at the start of the journey might be confusing. Fwiw, I've used modular analog synths for years. I'm just trying to get a sense of where Voltage Modular is coming from.
