Nope! Voltage Modular 2.0 is a free upgrade and all your modules will move seamlessly into the new version.

Voltage Modular software is always free. You only pay for modules, and all updates are free.

I don't understand. I paid for Voltage Modular. Apart from the Helping Hand sale on Nucleus, isn't there a charge for VM? Where is it mentioned that it is free? Confused.

Hi Andro,

You purchased module collections, such as Core + Electro Drums, and the Year One Collection. These are all collections of modules.

The Voltage Modular software itself is a free download: https://cherryaudio.com/voltage-modular/download

..but without modules it doesn't do anything.
